Danae Echeverria is a videographer and editor focusing on commerical, documentary, and narrative work. She is currently working on self-directed projects to expand her skill set and tell some stories before she moves on to tell some more.
And that's about it, so to fight shy of an awkward silence, here is one intrinsic truth about why she presses record, and that is this:
It is not about the people in the stories, but the stories in the people. Without curiosity, I am nothing, and nothing inspires me more than people. The closer I adhere to the power of truth and reality of my subjects, the more I can use the romance of discovery to construct honest tales from the raw materials of life. After all, knowledge of the real world is exactly what we need to better understand and therefore possibly love one another.
